Description:
We are seeking a self-motivated Commercial Finance Analyst with 2 years of experience to join our finance team. The candidate will support the TMX business by analysing financial data, budgeting, forecasting, and developing automated reporting and dashboards. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a solid understanding of finance principles. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within the team and across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Produce weekly/monthly financial and operational reports with detailed analysis.
- Assist with annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting, including revenue and cost forecasts.
- Develop automated reporting frameworks and dashboards to enhance efficiencies and insight to business performance
- Work with business teams to update revenue and resource forecasts and prepare divisional summaries
- Maintain divisional revenue and expense forecast per division
- Perform divisional margin assessments and ongoing analysis
- Support new pitches with pricing and margin analysis
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and efficiencies.
- Assist with multi-regional audits.

Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, economics or another relevant degree
- CA or CPA qualification (or working towards completion)
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills & commercial acumen
- Ability to work effectively independently, or as part of a team
