ROLE OVERVIEW
OCSGroup is currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Director to join ourpassionate, innovative and driven Security business on a permanent basis!
Youwill be responsible for providing strategic leadership support to the SecurityDivision, working alongside the Managing Director of the business. This seniorposition will be accountable for the commercial strategy together with holdingresponsibility for delivering against and managing the performance of the Securitybusiness.
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES:
- Takeoverall responsibility for the production of timely, accurate and insightful Businessdata to support the running of the business.
- Bea “Trusted Adviser” who is focused on driving all aspects of performance.
- Ownthe understanding of the financial position including variances and trends andensure suitable actions are being taken across the Division to maximise overallperformance.
- Developkey performance indicators and variance analysis to provide a clearunderstanding of the drivers of growth to inform and develop both short-termperformance and the SLT.
- Workalongside the Security Managing Director on identifying and assessing potentialacquisition targets and building business cases to support investment decisions.
- Drivecommercial decisions affecting the Division, including new business pricingpolicy, assessment and management of contractual risk, assistance with tendersand negotiations with clients as well as business specific cost management andcontrols.
- Championand maintain a best-in-class reporting function to provide timely, meaningfuland contextualised information to Divisional management.
- Continualimprovement of financial systems and reporting within the overall Division.
- Responsiblefor the financial control environment of the Division, including timeliness& accuracy of Management Accounts, management of all audit processes andimplementing sufficient review and oversight of all balance sheet areas.
- Managethe Divisional Finance Team including recruitment, succession planning andtraining alongside the development and motivation of team members.
- EnsureDivisional ownership, at all levels on cash and debt management includingcontinually challenging levels of WIP, UIR and debtor positions to maximisecash generation.
- Managethe annual preparation of a full bottom-up budget and strategy across theDivision in line with the Group timetable.
- Implementa continual forecasting and variance analysis model to improve the visibilityof expected results as well as challenging and assessing action plans to driverequired improvements so that overall targets are achieved.
- Workclosely with the Commercial Finance Director- UK&I in the broaderdevelopment of a best-in-class finance function which is driven to add valueacross all areas of the business.
- Attendanceat key commercial customer and supplier meetings.
- Continually drive improvementsin Business Partnering and the value that the Finance team provides.
