EXPERIENCE

• Existing Commercial Business Partnering for FMCG business.
• Qualified accountant (e.g. CA, CIMA, ACCA, ACMA)
• Experience gained in an organization or environment with ahigh degree of complexity and pace.
• A background in businesses going through rapid growth is desirable.
• Commercial awareness.
• Credible, with the ability to influence decision making.
• Self-starting and able to build strong relationships acrossthe business.
• Inquisitive nature and driven to challenge and improvecurrent practices.
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• Excellent Excel capabilities with experience of manipulatinglarge volumes of data.
• Ability to prioritise and adapt to workload.

In this role, you will play apivotal part in shaping our financial strategy and driving our businessforward.

• Lead Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the planning processes for annual budgets, quarterlyforecasts, and strategic plans. You’ll be the architect of our financialtemplates, data, and reports, ensuring we are always prepared for what’s next.
• Drive Accurate Financial Forecasting: Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams tochallenge and refine their inputs, ensuring our forecasts are always preciseand realistic. Your insights will be crucial in guiding our business decisions.
• In-Depth Variance Analysis:Conduct detailed variance analyses to uncover the impact of changes in volume,price, and cost on the P&L. Your expertise will help us understand andnavigate financial fluctuations compared to forecasts, budgets, and previousyears.
• Present Financial Insights: Be the voice of our financial health by presentingfinancial plans and results at team meetings. Your ability to communicatecomplex financial information will be key to our success.
• Support Strategic Initiatives: Play a crucial role in customer negotiations, new productproposals, and the analysis of promotional plans. Your analytical skills willsupport ongoing customer data requirements and help us seize new opportunities.
• Commercial Analysis and ROI: Conduct comprehensive commercial analysis of initiatives,providing invaluable support to the Off Trade team regarding pricing,promotions, and return on investment (ROI) analysis. Your insights will ensureour initiatives are profitable and effective.
• Ensure Financial Accuracy:Guarantee the reliability of the P&L for your area of responsibility, fromrevenue and sales volume to brand contribution. Your meticulous attention todetail will safeguard our financial integrity.
• Leverage Advanced Tools:Utilisingexisting tools to leverage reporting (Adaptive, PowerBI, etc).
• Ad Hoc Analysis and Support: Be the go-to expert for ad hoc data and analysis requestsfrom the Commercial Finance Lead, Sales, and Marketing teams. Your ability toprovide timely and accurate information will be essential in driving ourbusiness forward.
