Description: Seeking an experienced Lead HVAC installer looking to grow and build upon their existing skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in duct system and equipment installation best practices and methods
  • Understanding of mechanical codes
  • Ability to partner and coordinate with other trades on-site
  • Material ordering and job sequence understanding
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of full-start ups of different types of equipment
  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems is a plus
  • Ability to mentor and guide apprentices

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2+ years’ experience as a commercial lead
  • Flexibility with schedule during high volume times, ability to work M-F 7:00am-3:30pm with occasional weekend hours
  • Acceptable DMV report
  • Ability to complete pre-employment drug screen
  • OSHA 10 is a plus
    Job Type: Full-time
    Salary: $26.00 - $42.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Furnace and A/C Installation
  • Rooftop & MAU Installation
  • Duct Installation
  • Exhaust fans and louver installation
  • Radiant heaters
  • Gas and water piping
  • Ability to ensure that paperwork for each job is accurate
  • Read and understand project prints
  • Understanding of commercial construction safety and ladder safety, proper usage of ladders
  • The physical ability to bend, squat, kneel, grasp, manipulate hand and power tools
  • Ability to lift minimum 50 pounds
  • Ability to maintain PPE-hard hat, safety glasses, protective toe boots, and high visibility outdoor work attire
  • Desire to maintain and promote company moral, professionalism, and friendly work environment
  • Ability to maintain the cleanliness of company vehicle
