Wizards of the Coast, (‘WotC’) is one of the world’s largest publisher of adventure games, including Magic: The Gathering® Trading Card Game and Dungeons & Dragons® Roleplaying Games.WOTC Europe is part of Hasbro European Services and is based in Stockley Park - UK.
We are seeking a commercial business insights analyst who will be a facilitator across all areas of the WOTC EMEA business to make sure data driven insights are at the forefront of decision making and strategy. Champion data-led action across all teams.

• Power Query (both Excel (with Power Pivot) & Power BI versions)

• Confidence in using/adapting DAX measures.
• Ability to re-write DAX and M code.
• Experience adapting the visualisation options in Power BI to stakeholder needs.
• Ability to understand Power BI and Power BI refresh error messages and solve them.

• Challenging or backing up plans and strategies with data driven insights
• Focus on a holistic data approach which connects multiple data sets for a clear conclusion.
• Monitoring of KPIs and data trends across multiple parts of the business
• Collation and presentation of larger meaningful analysis projects to Wizards EMEA and the SLT
• Leadership of Weekly Business Review meetings to ensure they remain insight and action focussed and continue to drive understanding and improvement.
• Data comms to the EMEA business, the MTG Studio and Global leadership
• Mentoring EMEA colleagues in data use, best practice and presentation
• Identifying data or insights needs within the business and acting on them.
• Collaborate with other teams to derive a foundation for good quality data within WOTC EU
• Maintenance and improvement of existing data reports and processes
• Working across teams and functions to clearly understand and communicate context behind the data.
• Maintaining good relationships with Studio, AIM and BI colleagues.
• Provide clarity and actionable insight based on performance vs strategy.
• Ensure any data developments/projects make commercial sense.
