Description:

WHAT YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESS

  • RIBO (Ontario Broker’s license) or ability to obtain in short order Required
  • Typically, 3+ years of Insurance Industry and product line experience – broking or underwriting
  • Experience in the placement of commercial lines, transportation, cross border accounts is strongly preferred
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Professional communication, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to deliver positive customer experiences
  • Self-starter and strong team player able to work within Production and Service teams
  • Effective organizational skills and time management
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel).
  • Ability to learn and understand new systems quickly; EPIC fluency is an asset.
  • Bilingual (French/English) is an asset

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a dynamic Commercial Insurance Account Associate for our Cross Border division. In this role, the AA will work closely with our Canadian & US brokers to service the day-to-day needs of our in-house and well-established book of business. This includes reviewing and amending insurance policies with the client to ensure complete and appropriate coverage.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Continuously delivering quality client service for an assigned book of business
  • Developing and nurturing client relationships by identifying client-specific needs; creating innovative and cost-effective solutions
  • Be responsible for the renewal and servicing of cross-border policies, cross-border clients, and other items client service from end to end (submission, marketing, proposal, binding, invoicing, etc.)
  • Monitoring client accounts receivable statements, and collecting outstanding premium owing;
  • Building relationships with sub-brokers across Canada and writing business in the industries and programs we develop
