Job Summary:
Supports Account Executive team on essential functions supporting clients’ service needs to the agency’s quality and service standards. This position includes training to become a full Account Executive.
Job Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The statements on this job description are intended to describe the general nature of level of work being performed by incumbents. They are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required by all incumbents.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support Account Executive with day-to-day service needs for clients
  • Support Account Executive with marketing for new and renewal coverages
  • Support Account Executive with preparation of summaries of insurance, schedules, loss summaries, proposals
  • Support Account Executive with claim and cancellation activities for client

Detailed duties:

  • Process Certificates and Evidences of Property with Account Executive oversight
  • Issue Auto ID cards
  • Import/Export/Update Certificate Holder Lists
  • Maintain accurate client data in agency management system (AMS)
  • Request/follow up/complete/deliver client change requests from carriers/brokers
  • Ensure AMS policy, applications, transactions are updated based on changes
  • Prepare policy cancellations/Lost Policy Release forms
  • Notify AE of any cancellations
  • Request Loss Runs for renewing policies 90 days before renewal
  • Request MVRs as directed
  • Create summaries of insurance as directed by Account Executive
  • Quote and issue premium finance notes as directed by Account Executive
  • Input data into AMS to create applications for submissions
  • Complete policy checklists as directed by Account Executive
  • Check audits and prepare for delivery as requested by Account Executive
  • Update AMS and set suspense for audits in progress
  • Pull endorsements and policies from carrier websites
  • Create building valuations
  • Request Experience Mod Worksheets as directed by Account Executive
  • Set up draft renewal proposals for Account Executive
  • Gather Renewal Supplemental applications as directed by Account Executive

Education:

  • Prefer high school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate and understand orally and in writing with others to explain complex or abstract issues, receive and interpret complex information and respond appropriately.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and accurately perform simple calculation involving decimals and fractions
