Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS
As a Commercial Engineer, your primary role will be to connect technical expertise with business strategies. You will work closely with clients, understanding their needs, and proposing tailored technical solutions. Your focus will be on driving sales and building strong client relationships.
A commercial engineer is responsible for:
Providing customer support
Maintaining project information
Managing project estimating, scheduling, installation, and cost control
Studying energy efficiency and emerging technologies
As a senior engineer, you will own detailed technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms and provide technical leadership/supervision to the developers
Design and implement approval workflows, custom objects, executive dashboards and reports
Represent the Commercial Design team in meetings and conferences
Work with product owners and design teams to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
Partner with technology support teams to help resolve production issues in emergency situations
Interface with Product Development, Business Unit, Operations, review new product/service requests and applications to define technical requirements, use cases, scenario models, and implementation designs
Including installations, troubleshooting and training of products
Close communication with internal resources for the quotation like as country service manager sales
Qualify opportunities
Understand customer business drivers and how to map these to a customer network platform
Developing presentations and demonstrations for use at tradeshows, sales offices, or corporate facilities
Reviewing and providing feedback on market requirements documents (MRDs), and development specifications
Ability to perform product/system troubleshooting over the phone and on-site
Qualifications for commercial engineer
B.Sc. / HND in Metallurgical, industrial production, Any engineering related course.
Ability to work with Microsoft Excel is a must
