Description:
The Role
General Manager Sales & Admin or Commercial Manager to lead the Business Development Managers (BDMs) team across both local and overseas regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and monitoring team performance, ensuring the timely completion of tasks, handling administrative and logistical support, and motivating the sales team to meet their targets. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient operation of the team while aligning with the company’s strategic goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in Team Management and Team Building, Sales Operations, Talent Sourcing in African countries within the Chemicals Trading and Manufacturing Industry (Raw Material / Chemical Distribution). • Proven experience in managing remote or outstation sales/business development teams. • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on building a collaborative and high-energy team. • Solid understanding of sales performance tracking, reporting, and strategic goal setting. • Preferred Skills & Competencies: • Experience with travel and logistical coordination for teams. • Strong analytical skills to track and evaluate performance data. • Ability to foster teamwork, ensuring that all team members are held accountable for their goals. • Strong attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset to address challenges effectively. • Additional Requirements: • Valid UAE Driving License preferable.
