Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Commercial Manager to join the Mico Team. This role can be based in Auckland, or in Christchurch. In this pivotal role, you will partner with our General Manager to drive our financial success, providing commercial and financial leadership. You will lead a team of finance professionals, ensuring financial targets are met and identifying growth opportunities. This role will provide you with the opportunity to perform at the highest level, reporting through to our Divisional CFO.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Commercial Leadership: Support the development of business strategy, drive strategy execution, continuously identify new and clever ways to unlock/create value, develop commercial capability across the wider business, and provide day-to-day commercial decision support.
- Transformation & Change Leadership: Champion and drive the growth agenda and strategic initiatives to achieve long-term goals.
- Financial Planning & Performance Management: Develop financial plans that maximise return on funds; provide valuable insights into business performance and drive fast performance interventions where required. Manage the allocation and rationing of capital expenditure.
- Financial Control & Compliance: Ensure compliance with risk management policies, financial delegated authorities, tax, statutory reporting, and audit requirements.
- Special Projects: Undertake special projects as directed by the Divisional CFO or BU GM.
