Commercial Manager - IS DPS

This role will report directly into our Head of Commercial and will be responsible for the Downer Professional Services (DPS) business. Delivering strong commercial support through contract review, negotiation and management, bid and tender reviews, and ongoing support to our business leaders and delivery managers.

• Tertiary qualifications in Legal or Finance, or a related field. Further professional development within a complex contracting business or the Defence sector would be highly desirable.
• Experience in agile legal or commercial support to business stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and legal principles with demonstrated capability to negotiate and manage contracts efficiently.
• Understanding of various commercial models for delivery of services.

• Knowledge relating to export controls, conflict-of-interest identification and management.Strong business presentation skills, to communicate efficiently and brief stakeholders, for the purposes of training and to develop strong relationships.

• More than anything, you’ll have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a drive to provide high quality outcomes for the Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services business unit and our clients.
