ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This role will support the Head of National Commercial and Head of Trade by providing commercial insight and decision support across the Trading teams. Focused on Trading performance, this role will measure the achievement of KPIs, call out financial opportunities and risks and provide supporting information and analysis to enable fact-based actions for the trading teams to achieve their objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure relevant information is provided to trading teams to facilitate supplier negotiations
  • Partner States/Channel and Trading teams with the preparation of Budgets, forecasts and KPIs.
  • Compile trend analysis and KPI variance assessments and commentary across Channels and Trading departments.
  • Prepare supplier performance assessments.
  • Track deferred income and Partner trading teams and ensure deferred income is claimed as planned.
  • Private label/GM/commercial support where applicable.
  • When required, partner Trading terms department to audit/back claim missing income.
  • Support decision pricing support and investment.
  • Collectively support the broader National Commercial team as required.
