Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join out commercial team at Portakabin on a 18 month FTC. You’ll be a hands on, commercial and a results driven manager who has a passion for coaching and developing teams, delivering excellent customer service and will role model our Company values.
Managing the commercial teams in the York, Leeds, Hull and Sheffield, you’ll be responsible for developing and promoting the Company’s hire business, to include our full range of products and services, ensuring the Division’s Customer Charter is followed. The role is target driven with a key focus on order winning activity.
Working alongside projects and service teams in the region and the Building Service functions, the role holder will promote an environment of effective teamwork and communication.
Responsibilities:
ROLE DETAILS
- Salary: up to £55,000 + commission and company car
- Role based: Leeds with the requirement to travel across the region
- Contract type: 18 month Fixed term contract
- Annual leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holiday
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable for the delivery of targets for the year including contract value, order numbers, opportunities as well as other commercial KPI’s.
- Promote a culture of Health and Safety by taking a management responsibility for ensuring safe working and consideration for health and wellbeing, personifying Zero Harm.
- Provide coaching, mentoring and motivation to drive towards the achievement of the commercial areas objectives and KPIs, to ensure performance is maximised.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance to business and quality processes catchment areas managed.
- Support Area Hire Managers to generate orders by supporting them throughout the customer journey, including assisting with writing tenders, co-attending Customer visits as appropriate.
- Ensure the commercial team is maximising added value for every opportunity through promoting the full range of Building Services.
- Provide appropriate statistical reports on commercial teams performance on a weekly/monthly basis as required.
