- Experience in significant electrical transmission or substation projects is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities:
The Power Projects Team is experiencing significant growth, creating an exciting opportunity for you to join as a Commercial Manager. This position is available ideally in our North Ryde office or any office in Australia . As the Commercial Manager, you will use your strategic nous to drive positive commercial outcomes in delivering major Power Projects. You will report to the Commercial Director and be responsible for overseeing the implementation and governance of our commercial operating model and ensuring compliance with ongoing contractual obligations. Working with on-site contract administrators who report to you, you will interface with critical upstream and downstream stakeholders to effectively manage contract administration and commercial matters throughout the project lifecycle.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Contract Management: You will oversee contract negotiation, review, and management to ensure favourable terms and mitigate risks, which are critical for project financial viability.
- Cost Control: Implement strong cost control measures to optimise project budgets and minimise expenses, maximising profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Revenue Enhancement: Identify opportunities to enhance project revenue through value engineering, change management, & contract variations.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct a comprehensive financial analysis and forecasting to assess project viability and pinpoint financial risks and opportunities.
- Stakeholder Management: Interface with various stakeholders in all commercial aspects of the project, both upstream and downstream.
