Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Partner Brands, the Commercial Manager – The Wine Group (TWG) will lead the customer development of the TWG portfolio across Canada. The Commercial Manager will lead consumer activation to drive brand growth and will work closely with the Portfolio Manager TWG to activate brand plans effectively in market. The Commercial Manager will increase brand advocacy internally at MAWS and will accelerate market penetration in targeted accounts. This person will work collaboratively with the regional teams building the programming calendars and optimizing spend. The Commercial Manager will act as an educational resource for the internal team, as well as for customers and consumers. The Commercial Manager will also be responsible for aligning social media activation with TWG global platforms.
- Leading National Execution – calendar and adherence to delivery timelines, Ownership of Applicable Programming; reflected in Brand/Trade Sales Meetings (Retail, OP and Grocery Execution)
- Increase brand advocacy internally at MAWS and accelerate market penetration in targeted accounts with retail and OP in market work withs
- Plan and execute KPI’s, objective planning, Salesforce reporting, incentives and distribution tracking
- Act as educational resource for internal team, customers, and consumers. Plan and lead activations to drive brand growth and awareness at trade shows nationally
- Collaborates with Key Account Managers on presentations and executing tender objectives
