As a Commercial team we empower people to win and deliver better business. You will be able to build relationships and influence across the organisation. We are seeking individuals who possess analytical skills, can exercise sound business judgement, are articulate and confident dealing with ambiguity. If you demonstrate these skills and a willingness to learn, we can provide the necessary training to enable you to fulfil the role.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
- Empower capture teams to win and deliver better business by supporting the development of accurate, timely and innovative contractual solutions.
- Develop and implement contracting and negotiation strategies for new business using relevant processes and procedures, draft and negotiate contract terms with customers using appropriate techniques and strategies.
- Identify potential risks and liabilities in concepts, proposals and contracts and implement appropriate means to manage these.
- Instruct and administer new and existing business agreements providing trusted advice and guidance to ensure understanding of Rolls-Royce and customer obligations and contract points.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A degree or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Sound business and commercial acumen including the ability to interpret commercial issues and understand the commercial components of deals and how to influence them.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing to a range of audiences.
- Ability to collaborate well in a team environment, building relationships across the business and working collaboratively with other business areas and corporate functions
- Previous commercial and contracting experience would be advantageous
