REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with buying, procurement or supply chain management
  • Experience in a foodservice, restaurant, food wholesale or grocery setting
  • Commercially minded with experience in building and managing external supplier relationships
  • Highly analytical, with experience of working with ambiguous data sets
  • Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills
  • Charismatic and energetic with a passion for food
  • Expert level of English language
  • Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a food business, our ability to make our ingredients available nationwide at the best terms for our partners and for Sessions is critical to our model. Our supply chain supplies both input ingredients as well as fully finished products which enables our partner kitchens to produce a diverse range of brands, at scale, whilst maintaining consistent quality.
We are looking for a Commercial Operations Manager who can manage the day to day supply chain operations as well as implement process improvements to support Sessions growth. The right candidate will need to be highly obsessive over details and consistently drive to resolve issues and continuously improve how we operate and to deliver the best commercial terms for Sessions.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Source, develop and maintain the best possible products at the best price, working closely with our brands, technical, and operations teams.
  • Manage supply chain operations including managing availability, stockholding and forecasting.
  • Manage key supplier relationships to ensure risks are mitigated and any issues are resolved promptly
  • Drive strong commercial agreements to support profitability and growth.
  • Responsible across a range of products including food, packaging, logistics and equipment.
  • Responsible for partner kitchen ingredients compliance
  • Responsible for keeping commercial data and administrative systems up to date
