REQUIREMENTS

  • All levels! Seeking 1st to 4th year apprentices to Journeypersons, including Journeypersons with Project Management Skills.
  • High school Diploma, or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in installations and repairs in either the commercial or residential construction industry is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean drivers’ abstract.
  • Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
  • Physically able to kneel and crouch as well as lift, carry, push or pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in plumbing activities at all stages and ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Installing, troubleshooting, and overhauling the entire plumbing systems.
  • Reviewing and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and other specifications to comprehend the project requirements prior to commencing work.
  • Measuring and laying out reference points for installation in an accurate manner.
  • Verifying and preparing materials required for projects, ensuring accurate material type and quantity.
  • Working safely and complying with Star Mechanical’s Safety Program and relevant safety regulations
