QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of Commercial Real Estate experience, preferably as a Property Administrator
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Keen attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Proficiency reviewing financial reports, budgets and ledgers
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Preference given to applicants with experience using MRI, Angus and Nexus
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Administrator professional who is eager to advance and grow professionally at Equium Group located in Calgary, AB. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our property management processes.. The Commercial Property Administrator will be reporting to the Partner and Associate Broker, the Property Administrator is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of the portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise with tenants, manage all communication and organize property/tenant files.
- Review and analyze leases, issue rental letters and enter tenant leases into MRI.
- Prepare weekly internal receivables report and administer bad debt collections.
- Review and approve monthly recurring billings report.
- Prepare cheque deposits and apply to tenant accounts.
- Issue PO’s and code payables invoices.
- Process tenant related chargebacks
- Administer and coordinate tenant construction, move-ins and move outs;
- Liaise with building operators and contractors as required, ensuring services are meeting building/tenant requirements.
- Assist with construction and capital improvement projects including tendering and review of operational contract documents.
- Coordinate signage for buildings.
- Review monthly financial statements to ensure on-site expenses are in accordance with approved budget.
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports to Clients.
- Assist with annual budget process.
- Adhoc administrative tasks as required.
