COMMERCIAL PROPERTY LAWYER

Are you an experienced professional seeking a new opportunity to join a high performing and reputable firm within Shropshire?
We have an excellent opportunity for a full time or part time Lawyer to join our Commercial Property department inclusive of a mixture of Commercial Property and Corporate work. Our Commercial Property team is based mainly at our Shrewsbury office, but place of work can be discussed at interview with the option of hybrid-working available for experienced candidates.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and dedicated individual to join PCB, who is passionate about business development to support the growth of the department and firm. The successful candidate will work as part of a friendly, supportive, and approachable team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

· Highly organised with precise attention to detail,
· Experience with MS office applications such as outlook and word required,
· Experience using case management systems such as ALB, and other legal systems,
· Be able to work under pressure and retain high levels of confidentiality at all times,
· Proven written and verbal internal and external communication skills,
· Maintain your continuing professional development requirements and stay up to date on relevant changes in Commercial Property law,
· Work in a collaborative manner within the team and wider firm,
· Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and with others,
· Have a positive approach to tasks and a strong work ethic.

EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum of 4 years+ post qualification experience (PQE) in England and Wales required,
· Experience in Commercial Property law is essential,
· Experience in Corporate law is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

· Ability to effectively manage your own caseload independently, and engage in business marketing and development to attract work into the department,
· Advise clients on a variety of matters such as general Commercial Property work as well as some Corporate/Commercial work,
· Effectively use the case management system (ALB) to manage client matters, ensuring each one is up to date in line with Lexcel and PCB’s compliance standards,
· Drafting legal documentation whilst complying with relevant case law and SRA regulations,
· Providing excellent client care in line with PCB Solicitors standards,
· Build strong client relationships with new and existing clients.
