Description:

Oversee the management of all Street Furniture, Rail, Malls, Supermarkets and Airport contracts. Lead the Commercial Reporting Team to achieve their individual and combined goals. Oversee the management of 2 direct reports by providing them vision, goal, direction and support in line with the deliverables of the Commercial Reporting Team, ultimately contributing to the overall performance of the Estate Management team. Provide regular and ad hoc reporting, information and contract performance analysis to support the JCD UK Board, Commercial, Finance and Estates teams. Propose, implement and manage improvements of existing processes.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong Financial and commercial understanding. May be evidenced through graduate degree in Finance or similar discipline, or through other means.
  • Strong Organisational skills

  • Ability to prioritise and process big picture items

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of historical performance to propose potential terms to support contract renewals or otherwise.
  • Flagging any underperforming contracts to the various teams (Finance, Commercial, Partnerships etc) on a periodic basis to ensure these stay on everyone’s radar with the intention of improving performance.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial and Partnership teams to propose recommendations based on historical performance and future outlook.
  • Reconciliation, control and reporting of revenue and concession for all commercial contracts across Street Furniture, Rail, Malls, Supermarkets and Airport contracts.
  • Profitability, margin, contract performance and variance analysis
  • Preparing various key monthly, quarterly, half yearly and year-end reports
  • Reconciliation & detailed analysis of revenue down to campaign & panel level
  • Monthly forecasting of revenue, MGR, variable rent and cashflow
  • Producing and submitting annual budgets
  • Overall responsibility for management of leases for IFRS16 accounting standard reporting for the relevant business divisions.
  • Management and approval of rent payments across various divisions.
  • Overseeing Audits as required to fulfil contractual obligations.
  • Manage, support and develop the Commercial Reporting Team.
  • Developing and administering on-line portals for reporting to external partners.
  • Relationship management with all relevant Partnership teams including the Board Directors
  • Supervising Ad-Hoc projects as and when required
