We are currently seeking Commercial and Residential Electricians to join Our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial and Residential electrical work, with expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings and facilities. From new construction projects to renovations and upgrades, the Commercial and Residential Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and functionality of our clients’ electrical infrastructure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Living in Australia (Perth WA)
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician, with a minimum of 1 year working in commercial or industrial electrical installations and repairs.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, components, and wiring methods.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems accurately.
  • Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and mechanical skills.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Valid driver’s license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training.
  • Electrician A grade license.
  • Experience working with a variety of commercial electrical systems and equipment, including HVAC, lighting controls, and emergency power systems.
  • Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment, such as conduit benders, cable pullers, and trenchers.
  • Prior experience in project management or leadership roles.
  • Knowledge of energy-efficient electrical technologies and sustainability practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, fixtures, and equipment in commercial buildings, facilities, and industrial sites.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics to plan and execute wiring layouts and installations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall construction projects.
  • Perform electrical inspections to assess the condition of existing wiring, identify potential issues or code violations, and recommend solutions for compliance and safety.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems, such as power outages, circuit overloads, and equipment malfunctions, and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
  • Install and maintain electrical panels, transformers, switchgear, and other distribution equipment to ensure reliable power distribution and system operation.
  • Test electrical systems and components using voltage testers, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools to verify proper functioning and compliance with specifications.
  • Install and wire lighting systems, security systems, fire alarm systems, and other electrical devices in accordance with building codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with facility managers, building owners, and maintenance staff to address electrical issues, plan maintenance schedules, and coordinate service calls.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and any deviations from original plans.
