What you’ll be doing
Our UK Balfour Beatty Major Projects business has a terrific opportunity for an Commercial Services Manager to join us at our corporate headquarters based in Canary Wharf, London.
The Commercial Services Manager, shall have the attributes of a Senior Commercial Manager together with advanced skills in pre and post contract commercial governance and compliance as well as excellent contractual understanding and commercial risk management to support our work winning teams.
The Commercial Services team will be supporting the delivery to improvement and change programmes as well as leading technical learning and development across the commercial function. Typically, they will have a track record of managing and developing a commercial team.

Who we’re looking for

  • Chartered member of the RICS, ICES or CIOB
  • Able to support other mentors and commercial staff on their journey to becoming professionally qualified
  • Experienced in negotiating complex contracts and having the commercial flair to find opportunities and negate risks in a tight tender timeframe
  • Working knowledge of:-

    • Insurances
  • Securities (Bonds and Parent Company Guarantees)
  • Collateral Warranties (upstream/downstream)
  • Understanding of corporate structures (upstream/downstream)
