    We are seeking an enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our team within the Banqueting Kitchen here at Claridge’s.
    The banqueting kitchen is responsible for the preparation of our luxury event space, catering for around 1000 people per day. Seasonal ingredients and locally sourced produce are the hallmarks of our dining menus. Simply delicious, and deliciously simple.

Responsibilities:

AS A COMMIS CHEF YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • The preparation and service of food within our luxury event space, catering for around 1000 people per day.
  • Ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times.
  • Working with and supporting Chef de Parties, Demi Chef de Parties and First Commis Chefs.
  • Ensuring that the kitchen areas, equipment and utensils are always kept clean and tidy.
  • Appropriate mise-en-place, stock rotation and portion control.
