Description:
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of food items in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining experience for customers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Support the chef and other senior staff members in daily kitchen tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
Skills:
- Leadership: Ability to take charge and guide a team in a fast-paced environment
- Hospitality: Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
- Cooking: Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Team Management: Ability to coordinate and delegate tasks effectively within a team
- Food Production: Understanding of food production processes and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting
- Food Safety: Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
