JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, and leading the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen equipment.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising and managing a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient food production.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations..
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
