The Clockspire, was originally built by Sir William Medlycott in 1864 as a school which has been brought back to its former glory creating a warm and welcoming restaurant. Set by the quant Somerset village of Millborne Port, the restaurant offers a memorable experience from a spectacular view by the large windows and lofted ceilings with statement chandeliers to seasonal and locally foraged exceptional dishes along with carefully selected wines.

Job Description
We are looking for a commis chef to join the kitchen team, We are looking for a chef who is very hungry as we will provide full training and development for you when here.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commis Chef
• Proficiency in diverse cooking techniques and cuisines
• Leaving Cert level education or above
• NVQ qualification or equivalent
• Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
• Flair and innovative with menus and food presentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Exceptional attention to detai

• Food preparation, stock rotation and food labelling
• General cleaning duties
• Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are maintained at all times
• Contribute to the development and planning of new products, menus, and promotions to enhance customer experience
• Carry out the smooth and efficient running of your section as appropriate.
  The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Chef de Partie within a fast-paced, high volume kitchen.
  Hours per week: 45
