PART TIME COMMIS CHEF

Superbly located just off Villiers Street between Charing Cross and Embankment stations, we’re a little gem of a real pub in the heart of central London. We offer great food, and a premium selection of beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails.
We have a very enthusiastic team, a mix of cultures and a balance of skills. Our priority is to look after the team, with training, incentives, and competitions. We have a progression plan within the pub and Youngs. The Theodore offers staff parties, a day off on your birthday and 20% off in all Young’s pubs and hotels.
Working for us will give you all tools to develop in the hospitality career, we are all constantly learning and we want all teams to be part of it as a family.
We’re looking for a superstar Commis to join us for the Christmas period. You’ll be looking at 2 or 3 shifts a week or more shifts in a job share with another site. We are looking for pro-active team players who are as happy to wash up as to plate up. We’re a small team and everyone gets stuck into whichever duties need to be done.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A COMMIS CHEF:

We are looking for an existing Commis Chef, an excellent Kitchen Porter or an individual looking for their next step to their hospitality career, who consider themselves to have a passion and flare for producing quality fresh food in an environment that makes people feel welcome. As the successful Commis Chef you will:

  • Be an active hands-on person with a passion to work hard as part of a team
  • Have high standards and a great work ethic
  • Show willingness to learn new skills; be an active team player with excellent communication skills
  • Working alongside your kitchen team; you will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to deliver top quality service
  • Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills to complete day to day tasks
