Description:

Robert Half HR Solutions is currently partnering with a dynamic and growing client in the Norcross area that is looking to add a Commission Specialist to their team. The ideal candidate will handle their intricate sales field incentive program across multiple departments. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a challenging and fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in a Commission Specialist role or a similar financial analyst role.
Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, lookups, formula creation and modeling is compulsory.
Experience with Paylocity or another HRIS/payroll software is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are imperative.
Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal, and ability to simplify complex numerical data for understanding.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.

Responsibilities:

Process monthly payroll for the company’s sales commission team accurately and in a timely manner and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Analyze and validate all aspects of commission payout calculation accurately and efficiently.
Spearhead the retrieval and organization of complex sales data from various sources.
Assist with the maintenance and administration of the commission tracking system, ideally Paylocity.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc commission reports and analyses for the finance team and senior management.
Work interactively with sales and finance departments to resolve any commission-related disputes or inquiries quickly and appropriately.
Aid in the process of streamlining and improving the current commission calculation model.
Participate actively in the audit process when necessary.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
