Description:

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning Lead in automation to join our team. The Commissioning Lead will play a key role in ensuring integration and system testing across plants and delivery lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising, directing, and guiding field commissioning activities.
  • Contributing to the preparation of project forecasts, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Providing advice related to the overall completion strategy and planning, ensuring field integration aspects are considered.
  • Managing contractors and other relevant resources providing services and materials for field commissioning.
  • Providing leadership and direction to the Commissioning Team, coordinating the appropriate discipline resources.
  • Developing, reviewing, and implementing required Commissioning procedures and bridging documents.
  • Ensuring alignment with all interfacing systems.
  • Implementing the Commissioning scope and ensuring a smooth transition from project to operations.
  • Setting up and coordinating workshops and commissioning reviews to develop an integrated execution plan.
  • Contributing to the establishment of completion and handover strategy and documentation early in the project.
  • Lead planning, preparation, organization, and execution of commissioning activities in the project.
  • Ensure that health, safety, and environmental (HSE) aspects are thoroughly assessed, planned, implemented, and followed up for all commissioning project activities.
  • Participate in and take responsibility for strategic decisions and risk management as a member of the project team.
  • Monitor budget, progress, and quality of commissioning activities.
  • Establish strategies, procedures, and work instructions as required for commissioning in the project.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of relevant products and solutions.
  • Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English, verbal and written.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience, including at least 1 year of commissioning experience.
  • Experience with Mechanical Completion (MC)
  • Proven leadership experience.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
