ABOUT US
Haskel are looking to recruit a dynamic Commissioning Lead to support the development of I&C team. As Commissioning Lead, the individual will use their technical knowledge to provide advice and support on a range of Haskel core and hydrogen system solutions, for which a high level of expertise is needed.
JOB SUMMARY
They will be responsible for the team that carries out installation and commissioning activities of Haskel systems. As the Commissioning Lead, they will be the key point of contact for customers during the I&C phase of our projects, answering queries, providing technical advice for customers. They will liaise regularly with other members of the Aftermarket team and colleagues from a range of departments and support the engineering department with the development of commissioning documentation and programs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Fluent English
- Degree in electrical/mechanical engineering
- PLC experience
- Must have experience in a lead/management role
TRAVEL & WORK ARRANGEMENTS/REQUIREMENTS
Based at the Sunderland Site.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership responsibilities
- Coordination of field-based Installation & Commissioning activities.
- Coordinate third party resources during the I&C phase ensuring skill levels match the requirements of the task in hand.
- Internal Aftermarket focus
- Development and implementation of commissioning procedures and best practices.
- Develop and implement processes to streamline the I&C phase of projects.
- Develop, implement, and improve commissioning documentation.
- Assist and coordinate with management to improve I&C lead times.
- Prepare RAMS for site based I&C activities.
- Commercial Focus
- Provide support to the Regional Aftermarket Lead and Proposals team when preparing bids for I&C
- Build and establish good work relationship with customers to facilitate improved customer retention.
