Description:
Commissioning Project Manager
The Commissioning Project Manager - HYBRID is responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and completion of projects within the scope of the commissioning process. This position requires a combination of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, and special systems knowledge. The ideal candidate should have experience with CAD operations, project management, and strong communication, leadership, planning, teamwork, decision-making, judgement, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Position Overview:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage commissioning projects to successful completion.
- Lead a team of commissioning professionals and/or subcontractors.
- Ensure adherence to applicable codes, regulations, and standards.
- Provide technical direction for commissioning activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement commissioning plans.
- Review mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, and special systems drawings and design documents.
- Build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Inspect, test, and verify performance of systems.
- Prepare commissioning reports.
- Develop and track project budget.
- Provide technical direction to commissioning team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Certifications or licenses in EIT, PE, and/or LEED.
- Experience in CAD operations.
- Experience in project management.
- Strong communication, leadership, planning, teamwork, decision-making, judgement, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
