We are currently looking for a Commissioning Specialist to join our growing company.
In this role the Commissioning Specialist will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Technology Division. This will be a key role for the maintenance, assembly, and reporting functions for building Commissioning services on building projects from small size to large scale complexity.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical Commissioning experience
- Graduate of a technical college or university program is required
- Good reporting and presentation skills with the excellent ability to project manage
- Experience in the engineering field
- Fundamental working knowledge of HVAC systems
- Knowledge of building codes and standards
- Superior database development knowledge for effectively collecting and reporting information
- Ability to work well under pressure, staying organized and focused on prioritization of work
- Be accountable and reliable at meeting project schedules and deliverables while maintaining a high level of quality of work
- Professional commissioning certification designations such as BCxP or CCP in good standing will be considered an asset

Responsibilities:
- Provide key guidance and support to our clients, representing HH Angus with knowledge and coordination of the elements of the commissioning process
- Manage Commissioning projects as directed, inclusive to buildings and projects of different size and complexity in new construction and existing buildings
- Demonstrate an intermediate level of technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical and fundamentals of building envelope and assemblies
- Be proficient in project management and delivery of commissioning services
- Prepare documents and report all Commissioning progress updates for projects that are delivered to the appropriate department(s) internally and external project stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with clients in coordinating design and schedule requirements, while developing scalable systems to create efficient processing of reporting data on future projects
- Attend project sites to verify installations meet design intent, contract documents, and provide technical reports and/or site visit reports as required
- Demonstrate a strong level technical and commissioning knowledge to support formal reviews of various documentation such as contractors work plans, ITPs, commissioning test scripts; participates at commissioning coordination meetings and site reviews as required
- Demonstrating strong level of knowledge and experience with facilities operations and management would be an asset to support facility start up, training and demonstration, acceptance and handover and transition to post occupancy/warranty phase
- Responsible for forecasting commissioning program requirements to meet contractual obligations and financial performance of the project
- Work collaboratively with consultants of all disciplines to survey sites and verify condition and the safe operation of equipment systems and provide technical comprehensive reporting.
- Provide diagnostic support on various levels of complex projects and troubleshooting where needed; Ideal candidate will be solutions driven in supporting clients and project stakeholders.
