Responsibilities:
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Major project/chemical/gas/mining plant experience in a brownfield & greenfield environment
- Manage multiple work fronts at any one time-man & Material management
- Safely and successfully manage contractors on site to meet project schedules and milestones
- MS Outlook/Word/Excel knowledge desirable.
- CMMS/Completion Management System knowledge desirable
- Planning and scheduling experience commissioning activities with respect to subsystem/system priority
- Commissioning test pack, ITP and ITR preparation and completion.
- Supervise at least a team of 10 trades as part of a team during Commissioning stage.
- Work as part of a team, involved in construction and commissioning works at various sites from energization to process commissioning stage.
- Demonstrated a high level of personal commitment to safety and follow standard work practices.
- Perform maintenance, repairs and replacement of fixed plant equipment -rotating & stationary equipment, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing critical assets during various stages of commissioning.
- Utilize tools and engineering techniques to maintain and repair plant machinery and equipment.
- Liaise with inter-departmental supervisors to provide direction and support to workers so as to achieve targets and deadlines.
- Undertake safety and hazard assessments and ensure employees comply with OHS requirements.
- Interpret complex drawings, diagrams and specifications and determine suitable materials.
- Conduct inspections and investigations of equipment to rectify issues and failures.
- Carry out shift cover duties at different stages of commissioning as required.
- Prepare and maintain commissioning records of site observations, testing processes and checklists.
- Prepare and maintain daily shift commissioning activity progress report
WHAT YOU ‘CAN DO’
- Education: Trade qualification-SMP,E&I ,Process operation.
- Experience: At least 3+ years of broad-ranging experience in gas processing plant(desirable).Should include skills in planning, workforce management, field commissioning .
- Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in trade skill ,computer skills and familiarity with relevant completion software applications.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills are essential. You’ll be responsible for trouble shooting and process evaluation.
- Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills are crucial. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, interact with joint venture partners, and provide clear technical advice.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work well with others is vital. You’ll coordinate in-house or consultant studies, engage in discussions, and foster positive relationships.
- Adaptability: Given the dynamic environment, you should thrive in responding to diverse demands and frequently changing priorities and have an innate ability to work independently and prioritise.
