An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who wants to be part of a dynamic team within Carmarthenshire County Council Strategic Commissioning Team.
Carmarthenshire County Council commission a wide range of care and support services both from internal and external providers. The development and contract monitoring of these services is a key function within the Strategic Commissioning Team.
The Commissioning Support Officer post is responsible for supporting the Lead Officer in developing a range of innovative solutions to respond to identified need and for monitoring service contracts that deliver care and support. The postholder will be expected to work closely with service providers, health and social care professionals and colleagues on a daily basis and will require excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
