ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

The Commissioning System Responsible Telecommunication is responsible for the planning, execution and supervision of Completion and Commissioning activities for designated systems related to the delivery and integration of the Hugin A platform on the Yggdrasil FFA Project. The System Responsible will also assist in ensuring the Project Team deliver in accordance with Aker BP BMS and project mandate given by the Asset Management Team.

Telecommunication responsible are also responsible for discipline input to systems connected to and controlled by designated systems.

  • Contribute in the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings that are relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems.
  • Provide engineering input
  • Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems, including input to plan.
  • Able to work independently to plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities.
  • Participate in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites.
  • Deliver input and update progress into project completion system PIMS.
  • Develop, review, and implementation of commissioning procedures.
  • Coordinate and Interact with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning with high focus on HSSE.
  • Identify and follow up risks and opportunities related to commissioning.
  • Plan and call off ATS as and when required.
  • Manage assistance personnel from contractors and other resources providing services
  • Ensure spare parts and special tools are available prior to execution of commissioning activities.
  • Plan and ensure first fills are available in timely fashion and perform first fills.
  • Provide leadership to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve Aker BP’s expectations.
  • Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.
  • Participate in discipline MC punch rounds at sites for designated systems.
  • Plan and execute commissioning activities in a timely manner based on Commissioning plan.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operation.
  • Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
  • MSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
  • Experience from NORSOK projects.
  • System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding
  • Track record of delivery in the Oil & Gas industry for the Norwegian Continental Shelf and able to demonstrate effective system commissioning skills are a major advantage.
  • Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems. Experience with PIMS is an advantage.
  • Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning engineers & technicians to achieve timely execution of commissioning activities.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Commissioning System Responsible Telecommunication will agree goals for his/her performance with the Yggdrasil Commissioning Manager and/or Commissioning Lead SAS & ICT.

    This position is fully mobile with base location onshore office Oslo. Mobilization to construction site in Batam, Indonesia, Stavanger or Egersund for a period, prior to mobilizing to Stord, Norway integration site is a requirement of this position.
