Could you be the full-time Commodity Buyer Coupler & Gangway in Cluj-Napoca we’re looking for?

Responsibilities:

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic procurement expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Titus Ardevan (Domains Operations Manager, Cluj-Napoca), and work alongside dedicated Commodity Leads and Commodity Managers in the global domains categories.
You’ll be in charge of the deployment of procurement strategy across your commodity, secure demand and develop suppliers. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business in procurement, supply chain, engineering, quality & production ensuring project execution in line with Quality Cost Delivery & Technical (QCDT) objectives, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of global supplier Panel relationship (supplier workload, negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier quality, cost & time delivery performances), and you’ll consolidate commodity needs and inputs across all regions.

  • Business school or Engineering degree with Master in purchasing;
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in purchasing or projects;
  • Fluent level of English;
  • International background;
  • Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, communication, ability to convince, positive mindset);
  • Rigorous and structured;
  • Be willing to travel to Alstom or suppliers sites mainly in Europe
