Description:
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trading opportunities and trends.
- Responsible for managing physical commodity trading.
- Execute trades and manage positions in physical commodities, ensuring optimal pricing and
- risk management.
- Negotiate and process term contracts for the international supply.
- Oversee the logistics and transportation of commodities from suppliers to clients, ensuring
- timely delivery and compliance with contractual terms.
- Establish new and build upon the Company’s existing relationships with suppliers,
- customers, and other stakeholders to secure favourable terms and long-term partnerships.
- Ensure all trading activities comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and
- company policies.
- Perform regular risk management of the future trading book and work closely with the LME
- hedging desk to manage exposure effectively
- Identify proprietary paper trading opportunities across metal
Responsibilities:
The Commodity Traders, Refined/Scrap Metals are key hires in the anticipated expansion of Awin
Resource. The positions will be based in Singapore and undertake the following responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trading opportunities and trends.
- Responsible for managing physical commodity trading.
- Execute trades and manage positions in physical commodities, ensuring optimal pricing and
- risk management.
- Negotiate and process term contracts for the international supply.
- Oversee the logistics and transportation of commodities from suppliers to clients, ensuring
- timely delivery and compliance with contractual terms.

Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in physical commodity trading.
- In-depth knowledge of the physical commodities market, supply chain logistics, and risk
- management practices.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
