Position Summary
This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and executing our communication strategies. You will provide expert advice and support to enhance our communications across the Policy, Strategy & Impact and International & Engagement portfolios. The position will support the Associate Director and the Communications Business Partner on the planning, design, and delivery of a range of communications activities.

The Role Will Be Responsible For:

  • Planning & Implementation: Coordinate the development and execution of comprehensive communications plans in consultation with senior team members. Ensure that all communications align with strategic goals and are effectively implemented.
  • Event Planning & Management: Oversee and manage key events, including planning, coordination, and execution. Ensure that events run smoothly and achieve their intended outcomes.
  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging content tailored to target audiences. This includes writing news stories for the website/intranet, creating social media posts for internal and external platforms, and developing video content. You will also ensure content is disseminated through appropriate channels to maximise reach and impact.

What You’ll Bring To The Role:

  • Experience supporting the planning, production and delivery of communications activities including content production and events.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to foster positive working relationships with team and stakeholders.
  • Experience co-ordinating projects and delivering to deadline.
  • Good writing and editing skills and experience writing for multiple audiences, cultures, and channels.
  • Experience working with multiple communications platforms such as website and social.
  • Ability to collect, analyse, and interpret data and information to support continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a willingness to develop knowledge and skills drawing on the experience of senior members of the team.

Qualifications
A degree in Communications (or related field) with relevant industry experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
