YOUR SKILLS:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a corporate marketing, communications, or agency environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in creating messaging for internal and external audiences.
  • Experience in creating marketing and communications plans (from research through to measurement and evaluation) and in designing specific content strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Excellent communications skills in person and in writing, with good presentation skills and comfort speaking to large groups.
  • Event planning and execution experience.
  • Proven ability to work with and create alignment among multiple stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Insurance industry experience an asset.
  • No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Oversee marketing and communication plans and associated initiatives from beginning to end. Assess the needs of each project, get buy-in, implement the plan, and measure impact.
  • Meet with business partners and internal teams to determine marketing and communications solutions to business challenges, and effectively manage priorities across multiple lines of business.
  • Develop and support a wide range of campaigns and programs with business partners and internal teams. Approaches should consider and include multimedia engagement, events and communications.
  • Assist with the planning, coordination and execution of in-person and virtual events for employees and external stakeholders.
  • Write clear and engaging marketing and communications materials for a variety of audiences including employees, customers and brokers. Types of written content can include speaking notes, video scripts, articles, presentations, marketing materials and digital content.
  • Coordinate multi-platform content from start to finish, which may include written, video and audio content, social and digital.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and manage related budgets and reporting.
  • Oversee and manage the various communication channels used by the team.
  • Manage our merchandise orders and keep records of our existing supplies.
  • Advance the department’s brand and image and promote the company’s goals and objectives through all stakeholder communications.
