Job Purpose:
As a world leader in the tire manufacturing industry, Hankook Tire Canada is seeking a self-motivated experienced Communications Assistant to join our Marketing team.
The Communications Assistant assists in the development and implementation of the marketing plan and works across departments with internal and external stakeholders. A successful candidate is a self-starter, enjoys problem solving, and is a team player. Our marketing department works to enhance Hankook’s brand awareness in Canada and collaborates with our counterparts in the North American Headquarters and Global Headquarters.
The incumbent will report to the Director of Marketing.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Produce marketing collateral (digital and print)
  • Generate marketing content and upkeep contents calendar
  • Support media engagements and consumer events
  • Drive sales promotions and develop campaigns that engage end-users
  • Assist in the execution of sponsorship activations and hospitality
  • Manage vendor relationships and complete administrative duties
  • Perform audits to protect brand identity
  • Conduct market research to assess brand awareness levels
  • Other responsibilities within the Marketing Team may be shared

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or other relevant disciplines
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Design Suite is an asset
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Team player with exceptional work ethics
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks with competing priorities
