QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Level 5 qualification or passed an examination at the appropriate level within the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent, which can be assessed as being comparable to Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent
  • A minimum of three years’ experience and demonstrated expertise in a similar role.
  • Full Irish Drivers License
  • QQI Level 7 degree in digital marketing, digital media or communications is highly desirable
  • Social media qualification and/ or experience and/or
  • Experience in event management

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

  • An understanding of Teagasc, its functions and clients.
  • Familiarity with the Signpost Programme, its aims and objectives.
  • Good organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Computer literate with proficiency in the use of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Zoom and Outlook.
  • Publishing and editing digital content.
  • Knowledge of and experience of working with Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite (including Photoshop and InDesign)
  • Experience using email marketing software (for example Mail Chimp, Send In Blue or similar)
  • Database management
  • Competent in creating artwork for social media and other digital platforms, using relevant software tools for the creation of animations, GIFs and videos.
