Communications Lead

CMHA Kelowna is hiring a full time Communications Lead. This position is 37.5 hours a week with a typical work week of Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm. Evening and weekend availability may occasionally be required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in Communications or Marketing required
• Certificates in Digital Marketing an asset
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Experience working in a non-profit environment considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
• Demonstrated skills in strategic communications planning, content creation and digital marketing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using Graphics programs such as Canva and Adobe Suite (on PC) considered an asset
• Basic web development skills considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and adaptability
