Description:

Would you like to join an award winning automotive company as a Communication Manager.
The Manager, Communications will have a unique and hands-on role in designing, building and executing the company’s internal communication, employer branding and support customer marketing initiatives.
As a communications business partner, you will be involved in key initiatives impacting teammate engagement and customer initiatives that are aligned with the business goals and objectives of the organization. The role is instrumental in visually sharing, promoting, and communicating Woodbridge culture and values.
Responsibilities include:

Internal Communication

  • Execution of global internal communications strategy, based on the company’s business and employer brand strategies
  • Support various stakeholders with communicating organizational changes, announcements, initiatives, processes and events
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all mediums and align with relevant stakeholders
  • Keep communications fresh, creative and engaging, to drive business objectives, culture, employer brand awareness and employee engagement
  • Initiate, promote and execute internal/external communications through our intranet and social media channels
  • Ensure continuous improvement by measuring communications impact and effectiveness

Corporate Community, Social Impact Culture

  • Partnering with Woodbridge Cares, manage the continued brand development of the Woodbridge global community program to ensure consistency and effectively strengthen brand and engagement.
  • Develop strategies and materials for the communication of CSR and sustainability initiatives to all internal and external audiences, ensuring overall messaging consistency across regions and throughout corporate communications.

Employer Brand and Marketing

  • Lead the design, development and management of EVP (Employer Value Proposition)
  • Work with the Global Director, Talent and Engagement and the Regional HR Directors to develop content in support of Employer Brand through online channels, external events and marketing campaigns. Responsible for ensuring consistency and application of Employer Brand Standards globally.
  • Develop content to support internal and external recruitment marketing efforts including templates, communication pieces, signage and swag.
  • Manage all creative teammates engagement driven content for global offices (photos, videos, testimonials, etc.)
  • Coordinate and draft submissions for industry awards to promote attraction and engagement
  • Assist in facilitating, planning, and managing roadshows/technical reviews with customers and internal business partners

Your experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communications or a related discipline is required
  • Experience in a manufacturing company
  • 5+ years of experience managing projects for internal communications in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Relevant work experience in employer branding or marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & storytelling skills – a must
  • An interest in business partnering, where interpersonal skills lead and diverse cultures/perspectives are welcomed.
