SUMMARY:

The Communications Specialist at AccelerateMS develops and delivers effective communication strategies and materials that align with the organization’s mission and goals. Reporting to the Communications Manager, this position focuses on executing projects and campaigns in areas such as content creation, media relations, and event support, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across all platforms.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Strong writing and editing skills for digital and print platforms.
• Proficiency in managing social media tools and analyzing performance metrics.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva (preferred).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in communications, with demonstrated ability to deliver engaging content and support campaigns.
• Experience in workforce development or economic development is preferred.
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: $52,800.00 - $56,298.00 per year
