The IS&T Communications and Engagement team informs and engages employees worldwide on everything from how to set up their work devices, what to do when they’re stuck with a technical problem, and what’s new in IS&T’s innovative portfolio of products and services. We are looking for an outstanding Communications Specialist to handle projects for our global internal platforms and channels. This is a role for a creative thinker, skilled communicator, and collaborative problem solver who wants to have their hands in several projects at once; who can deliver strategy from concept to completion, and effectively work as part of a team.

DESCRIPTION

In this role, you’ll write instructional and troubleshooting content for IS&T Web. You’ll work closely with stakeholders from engineering teams, the IS&T HelpLine, and other subject matters to figure out the right level of detail to empower Apple’s workforce to use internal tools and systems. You’ll function as a strategist, working to understand the rollout of new systems, or changes to existing ones, and recommending a communications plan that uses multiple channels - from Slack, to email, to video content. Most importantly, you’ll take these plans all the way from concept to execution. You’ll also support internal communications for the IS&T organization - from Town Hall meetings to Inside IS&T articles, and other communications that drive engagement and connect people to our organization’s purpose and values.

• Bachelors degree in communications, journalism, public relations or equivalent work experience
