Description:

The key accountabilities are not limited to but include:

  • Produce a variety of high-quality and timely sustainability and corporate communication materials to meet QIC’s external communication needs, including thought leadership papers, web/EDM copy, key messaging, flyers, editorials, award submissions, advertisements, reports, social media content, and speeches.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate and ESG Communications Manager, Investment Management teams, ESG team, and other key internal stakeholders to identify, prepare and execute a pipeline of external communications.
  • Develop communication plans to support QIC’s announcements across asset classes with a focus reaching on public audiences.
  • Lead the development of quality sustainability communications and reports.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for continuous improvement and fulfill other duties as directed by the Corporate and ESG Communications Manager.
  • Ensure consistently strong technical writing and verbal communication skills, exercising sound judgment in corporate communication outcomes

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a talented Communications Specialist to join our Marketing & Communications team here at QIC on a 15-month, contract. This role is pivotal in supporting our corporate communications activities by developing strategic communication plans and offering stakeholder relations advisory.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to craft clear and compelling messages, effectively managing the pipeline of sustainability communications and reports. They will also contribute to the broader development of thought leadership materials, including insights, presentations, flyers, web and digital copy, and key messaging.
Reporting to the Corporate and ESG Communications Manager, this role demands a keen eye for detail, very strong writing and content ideation skills, and a grasp of sustainability. There is a preference for a candidate with financial sector experience.
