The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is looking for a Communications Specialist (Digital) to join our dynamic Communications & Engagement Team and play a pivotal role in enhancing our growing online presence.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and implement content strategies aligned with the company’s overall communications goals. Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content that is engaging, accurate, and consistent with the brand voice and style guidelines. Stay up to date on the latest digital marketing and communications trends and best practices to optimise web content performance and audience engagement. Explore and experiment with new content formats and technologies to enhance audience engagement.
- Help drive the delivery of our website improvement plan, supporting transformation across Civil Aviation Authority websites. Support day-to-day digital content requests to keep our website up to date, relevant, and engaging.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather information, identify content opportunities, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Play a key role in the Communications Hub structure and wider Communications & Engagement Team to coordinate communications across priority areas. Work alongside subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, up to date, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
- Manage digital consultations, facilitating effective stakeholder engagement and gathering valuable feedback.
- Track and analyse content performance metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to improve content effectiveness and ROI. Maintain a consistent brand image and messaging across all digital platforms.
- You’ll also assist colleagues in the management of consultations, share WCAG 2.2 accessibility guidance and support the management of a content request system, ensuring audit trails and version control.
