Description:

At Enersense, Communications and Sustainability team plays a crucial role in driving our brand image and promoting our commitment to sustainable practices. We are seeking a proactive and creative Communications Specialist who is passionate about sustainability and ready to elevate our communication efforts in close collaboration with our business units and stakeholders. Our communications strategy is deeply integrated with our business strategy and sustainability goals, ensuring that our messaging reflects our dedication to transparency, engagement, and environmental responsibility.
The Communications and Sustainability team is closely aligned with our business lines, ensuring that our communication efforts support our strategic objectives. This position is based in Helsinki, and you will be part of the Communications and Sustainability team, reporting directly to our Head of Communications and Sustainability. We offer flexible opportunities for hybrid working.
Role Description:
You will excel in the creation, implementation, and enhancement of Enersense’s communication strategies and practices, working closely with key stakeholders and colleagues from our Business Units and Group functions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide expert communication support to business units, ensuring alignment with company-wide messaging and goals.
  • Craft and distribute press releases for business units, ensuring accuracy and promptness of key announcements.
  • Develop and manage engaging content for our social media channels, driving brand awareness and audience engagement.
  • Create and develop website content, support SEO and SEM to enhance visibility and traffic.
  • Develop and execute communication plans that enhance our employer branding.
  • Support in financial communications, including coordinating translations, proofreading and writing content for annual reports.
  • Develop and implement internal communication plans, including intranet development and management, change management communications, internal newsletters, and training materials.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date company presentations.
  • Monitor media coverageto provide insights for improving communication strategies.
  • Act as the main user and administrator for our release publishing system, ensuring efficient and timely distribution of all communications.

In a Colleague we would wish for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, with prior experience in a similar role preferably from a stock-listed company.
  • A broad understanding of communications, including media relations, social media management, and content development.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative and creative communication strategies that drive engagement and brand consistency.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Finnish.
  • Experience in content management systems,SEO and SEM.Familiarity with financial communications is an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a creative approach to problem-solving and a proactive attitude.
