TE WHIWHINGA MAHI | THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a creative Corporate Communications Specialist with experience in engaging and inspiring internal audiences in a large, complex organisation.
Reporting to the Director International, this new role will take lead responsibility for building alignment and awareness internally across the university of our International Office and the recently approved Internationalisation Framework. You will also work closely with the International Office Deputy and Associate Directors, the University of Auckland’s Corporate Communications Manager and Staff Communications Manager to ensure all activities are aligned with the International Office’s goals.
To be successful in this role, you will need to display sound judgement and decision-making ability in a complex environment. It is essential that you have confidence to build strong working relationships with our executive leadership team and senior members of staff (academic and professional) across the University.
This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), 12 month fixed term opportunity, with a salary range of $79,000 - $84,700 (pro rata) depending on skills and experience.
